This committee is responsible for creating, managing and overseeing our nominations and awards
process. This committee reviews all nominations, selects an award committee consistent with professionals in the

The Outstanding New Professional Award
and the Sandra Lee Fitch Volunteer Administrator of the Year Award recognize NVAVA members who demonstrate
exceptional leadership and commitment to the field of volunteer administration.The Outstanding New Professional
Award recognizes a member who is new to the field while the Sandra Lee Fitch Volunteer Administrator of the Year Award, named
in honor of a member who dedicated her life to volunteerism, recognizes an experienced member. One nominee for each award
will be recognized at the NVAVA Annual Meeting on Thursday, May 20, 2010.
