The Northern Virginia Association for Volunteer Administration (NVAVA) is a professional nonprofit membership organization for people committed to the effective involvement of volunteers in community programs and services. The purpose of NVAVA is to:

  • Promote professionalism of volunteer administration
  • Offer educational opportunities for members and provide a forum for mutual exchange of ideas
  • Provide networking opportunities among members
  • Increase awareness and cooperation among organizations utilizing volunteers
